About the Artist

I was born and raised in New Delhi, India, and studied fine art at the College of Art, University of Delhi. I have always been interested in Printmaking and studied with John Paul Jones at UCI for three years after moving to California. I have been creating original fine prints for 28 years, since 1982. My studio is in my home in Mission Viejo where I live with my husband Maarten (of 28 years), and children Lauren (age 25) and Jacob (age 24).

My works are in both private and corporate collections in the United States and abroad. I have shown extensively throughout in exhibitions including the Laguna Art Museum. I have lectured and demonstrated my techniques at colleges and have served as President of the Los Angeles Printmaking Society. I will be teaching Printmaking this Fall semester at Saddleback College.
